Nadine Lucien is the Director of nursing here at Rehabilitation Center of the Palm Beaches. She has been working in the health care industry for over two decades. After graduating from Palm Beach State College, she worked as a registered/charge nurse at JFK medical center in the Med surgical/MSICU/step down unit for many years. Nadine has been a Clinical Leader in Long Term Care for over 12 and the Director of Nursing of Rehabilitation Center of the Palm Beaches since 2017. She is passionate regarding providing quality care for her Residents and is an active member of the Florida Association of Nursing Administration. Nadine is a married mother with three children, a proud member of Grace Chapel in Loxahatchee, and enjoys traveling in her leisure time.

Valerie Gray has been in Long Term Care for over 30 years. Valerie was born and raised in Davenport, Iowa where her passion for serving the Elderly began, working in her local Nursing Home during her Summer High School breaks. After relocating to Florida, she received her Associate’s Degree in Nursing in 1994 and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration in 2008. She has been the Administrator of Rehabilitation Center of the Palm Beaches for 15 years and awarded the AHCA/NCAL Silver Quality Award in 2013. Valerie is also a member of FHCA Leader’s Association. She has served as Quality Award Examiner and continues to be actively involved in All Quality Award Initiatives. She is a proud wife, mother, and grandmother to her 2 grandchildren.

Dr. Romuald Altiné is a board certified internal medicine physician who has been practicing in the community for more than 18 years both in the acute and post-acute setting. He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and went on to complete his training at Mount Sinai Medical Center in Miami, FL. His experience extends from the regular daily bedside medicine to leadership role as managing physician of a large hospitalist group. He has also served as a faculty member of an internal medicine residency program which has graduated many physicians serving the area. Dr. Altiné sits on the peer review committee at his practicing hospital. He also participates in quality improvement and implementation through several other committees. He is the chairman of the medicine department at the same institution. In this ever-changing medical landscape, Dr. Altiné remains steadfastly committed to provide his patients with care not only supported by evidence-based medicine but infused as well with compassion and understanding.
